Slip-casting entirely disassembled and rebuilt anew just in a few days.


We will focus on the process of creating and try to unlearn some of the imprinted superstitions about a form, a function and a process of making: experimenting with a wide range of techniques for creating pattern and texture using methods developed by the artist.

The workshop will show new ways of approaching the plaster mould, not as an end itself, but as a creative medium in its own right. The plaster mould is just a beginning not the end of the process of creation. It throws open many new creative possibilities. It can be sawn into slices, smashed, filled up with paper pulp or chocolate cereals providing endless possibilities...
